Default Corvette Steering Column install?

Has Anyone Tried To Install A Telescoping Corvette Steering Column In A F-body. Being 6'1" Tall By The Time I Get My Knee's Out Of The Dash I Find I Have To Reach A Long Way For The Steering Wheel. I the vette is much more comfortable to me with the wheel up close.

i would just bu a different car if its not comfortable. I am 6'4", and i do alright, but i have some long arms too. On the f-body, the key is on the column, on the vette its on the dash. The f-body has the old janky blinker set-up, the vette is a new design, and i believe you turn the headlights on witht eh blinker switch also. and, the windshield wipers are on the right side of the column.....WAY too much work for what you get out of it. Plus it would be expensive. I would rather put a cam in....

I am 6'3" and dont have much of a problem at all. Although I am constantly hitting my head on the t-tops. I guess it does help that i'm only 155lbs, so my skinny legs dont get in the way that much.
