Why are you not using prewired LS1 specific wires? Just wondering.

I think Jay Fisher Pontiac had some sets of Moroso Ultra 40s made up for coil pack relocation setups. I don't recall how much $$ they were though.

I think LT1 wires are often used in custom coil pack relocation jobs but I am not positive if they will work , just something I thought I rememberd reading someplace

Check out Thunder Racing. They sell longer wires for coil relocation. I don't know if they would be long enough to clear everything for you.

This is the same thing I'm trying to do. I have a set of the standard MSD Superconductor 8.5mm wires on there now. Those wires use the AC Delco coil boot. They must use those for the angle and fit. I don't know if anybody makes a coil boot for the LS1 coil. If they do I'd be on it too.

I was just going to say the same thing. The MSD wires do use the stock AC Delco boot. When I got my 8.5's I thought it was a little screwy that you have a high performance wire with one boot that isnt as suseptable to heat, and a stock one. I would think that MSD would have at least done some reverse engineering to get a boot that they make, rather than using the delco parts bin.
