Default Clutch engagement

Which is better? The clutch catching up high or all the way at the bottom? Mine catches up high.

I would have to say anywhere from 2 inches off the floor to mid range is good, much higher and you run the risk of it not totally engaging.

Mine was about 2 inches from the floor and it caused the clutch not to dissengage properly so at high RPM's, the tranny would come out of gear but wouldn't go into the next. Gotta find that mid-point.

Yah I guess it depends on the type of clutch. The centerforce techs told me with my DF setup it should ideally be about 2 inches off the floor but it could be different with different setups.

Catching up high is better. The lower to the floor the clutch engages means less fluid movement and the possibility that the clutch doesn't engage or disengage enough.
