Default what do you think about the SuperSucker ram air extension

http://www.speedspecialty.com/store/...perSuckerScoop

I was just checking some stuff out and found this Ram Air extension. I have the SLP ram air, and was wondering if this is a decent addition, or a waste of money. If anyone has gone from the regular SLP or FTRA kit, and added the extension please let me know what ya think. I am assuming it will gain a few hp, but is it worth it?

thanks guys
Fry

I think it is the best of thesetups that are available. Mine was fine until it met a grade going into a gas station. Damn civil engineers can't get crap right. It was so steep a scuffed the paint under the nose of the car. I just need to get a new lower section from Al.

So did you put the extension on after you already had Ram Air, or did you just get the whole SuperSucker from the get go.

I think in theory it is a good design and idea but if your car is lowered it just isnt a real good option.
Im not sure you will get more air with it but my thinking was that it would be cooler air because it catches air before getting under the car.

Now that I see you have a camaro have you seen the intake scoop someone was designing on here for camaros. It catches air right in front somehow. I will see if I can find it and post a link.

I liked mine. I was stock height and never touched a thing, and drove the car in a couple of downpours. One really nasty grade took it out. I need to replace the lower section this spring.
