Default Does porting the maf lean out a/f ratio?

The reason I ask it because Im on a stock tune and when I changed my plugs the other day they were mostly white. Meaning Im running lean if Im correct? Would this hamper performance or is it worth doing?

Short answer yes you will run lean, enough to cause problems is a maybe/most likely depending on you setup, for the long answer read this or search this forum

Search.

Short answer: DO NOT TOUCH THE MAF.

If you think it is running off get it on a dyno and find out what the air-fuel ratio is, and if it is off go from there with some tuning.

Descreening alone isn't as risky as porting it. If that is all that was done I wouldn't worry about it.
