why is it so laggy? I make full power by about 4700 with a 100% stock 99z28 with cats. How much timing were you running?

These are the initial runs. Motor is now hurt so we will be replacing it for a low-comp setup soon.

And yes, this is the SOM SS.

Customer chose to run the boost this high. It was a beast for a while. He expected to be doing the bottom end sooner or later.

if thats on a dynojet, you cant call it laggy. my incons look like they dont build boost till 4000 rpms because of the low loading of most dynojets...even though on the street they start at 2500 and full boost by 3400.

cable is correct. The dynojet only puts 2400lbs of load on the vehicle.

Nice Matt... a little laggy, but we'll see what happens when you get it fixed and dialed in.

lol Silver-Dollar. We will call it a blessing, too bad our prayers weren't answered. 10PSI is way too serious for a stock bottom end but it was not my choice. I would personally run 6-8 tops. Plus remember this motor has seen nitrous before and it driven very "spiritly"

Stock internals/stock heads should take 8psi with the FMIC right? With a good tune, you should be making about 500rwhp correct? I was thinking the same thing...the hp curve seemed...weird? Typically you'll see a "large" jump around 3500-4000rpms.

We are changing the cam setup for this motor. Little too aggressive and not the turbo cam I would use so we are changing it.
