Default Best CAI for the LT1?

Does anyone think that any of them are really better than the other ones? Or are they all pretty much the same?

Its just a cold air, Morso, SLP, KnN there all good etc and all work. They make the same power.

LPE also makes one, just look for whats cheaper your not getting anything better its not like your buying a LID.

I have the moroso on my 94 and think it's a good design. I also bought the LG CAI the first time around and thought it looked just like the stock one, so I would shy away from that one.

Either way K&N or moroso is what I would go with.

Ok cool, wasn't being rude just not sure you knew it was available. K&N, Moroso, Arizona Speed & Marine (nice looking), etc etc all make nice units which from what I've seen perform all about the same or equivalent to a WS6 ram air setup (not an SS hood setup though). Few folks have actually done the engineering behind what actually performs more or less, in fact GM Hightech had a pretty good article on your questions about a year ago. I personally have a Moroso and really like it, had to custom rework the bottom to clear the dual core Griffin radiator but it works fine. I'm putting together a custom CAI setup for the 90mm TB, SuperVicEFI, etc and considering using some kind of turbo piping ceramic coated maybe, that looks nice and will fit into the same location as the CAI filter.
