Default Any hot growth areas in TX for realestate and properties??

Just wondering what hot areas there are right now for realestate and properties. If there are any towns or counties that are being built up really quick. Lookin at doing a little side business right now with investing.

any suggestions on where to look? Would greatly appreciate it!

Look into Mansfield, Texas or Burleson (where Kelly Clarkson's from). Really nice areas and going up quickly. Great schools too!

10 years ago if you said you were building sub divisions out towards Richmond people would have thought you were nuts, now I see stuff going up there like crazy.

Florida? The cities that have grown fast are Las Vegas and Phoenix!

College Station and Bryan, Texas. There was a news special a few months back where they talked about property values compared to standard of living, and future property value trends, and college station was deemed the most bang for your buck or undervalued in the US and one of the top 3 or 4 fastest growing cities in the US. So here you go.

God I hope not. Texas is all about vast land and fields and woods etc. Id hate to see our beautiful state look like NY or CA. Everything mowed down in the name of expansion and economy.

Also, look at Hutto, TX. It's a few miles east of Round Rock which is a northern suburb of Austin. About 4 years ago Hutto was nothing but a cornfield. That is changing very very quickly. Round Rock and Hutto are practically growing together. My sister lived in Hutto for a couple of years.
Dell is located minutes from here, and so is Dell Diamond which is the home of the Houston Astros triple-A baseball team...The Round Rock Express.
