Clock Spring in Steering Wheel broke...

Clock Spring in Steering Wheel broke... Is there a write up on how to replace the clock spring on the Steering wheel or even how to remove it? I broke mine and the AIR BAG light is getting annoying although I do like my control lamps off.

well to replaced your clockspring you must remove the air bag and then you start on removing the steering wheel, once youve done that you be able to access the clockspring with no problems, but dont forget to disconnect the battery before starting

Two hex screw on the back of the steering wheel.
I took out my airbag. Remove clip from airbag connector, pull off.
Discontected horn wiring by twisting it.
Pulled the steering wheel.
Took out snap ring for clockwork spring.
Pulled up on it untill no slack.
Pushed down on the locking ring and pulled its snap ring.
Removed the connector from the multifunction lever with a philips screwdriver.
Pulled the turn signal cam. (three fasteners)
Took out the lock cyl. (one small silver fastener)
Then I took the rest of the column apart
Removed a clear plastic guard that protects the wiring from going too far into the column.
Snaked the wiring up through the column. (three large silver fasteners)
Fish the new wiring back down.
RE-AMS everything.
Took about 2 hours start to finish? I don't really remember but I did this in the dark with a flashlight in my carport. Car drove fine the next day.
I didn't disconect the battery. There is no current in the airbag module after ten seconds from removing the key. The only way you are going to get shocked is if you mess up disconnecting the battery.
This isn't a horrible job but it is not for someone new to cars. I have taken apart 2 1999's and one 2002 and they are all the exact same. Except for the 2002 had wheel buttons.
