Hey guys. Got a few questions about my dry kit (nos 5177) that i just got for my 98 trans am. Do i need to run colder plugs on my ride? (I have ngktr55 gapped at .055 right now). Do I need to retard my timing? The install manual says that u can leave the stock timing and plugs :bang:. Im going to be running a 75 shot, maybe go up to a 100 shot. My mods are LT headers, off road y, mti air lid, k@n filter, ported throttle body, 3400 stall, shift kit, and 3:73 gears. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

you should be fine, i had that kit on my car for 2 years and I liked it verry much. I run ngk tr6 plugs, but have used the 55. I wound up just pulling the jets in my kit, but everyone on here says that im lucky im still runin....good luck

Yea, colder plugs gapped at .038-.039 is a good idea. Im glad i dont have to mess with the timing. Cant wait to hit the juice! Im going to put on a msd digital window switch on to be on the safe side..........
