Default FAST intake does not want to sit flush?

Installing my FAST intake. The intake does not want to set flush on the heads. One side at a time will fit down on the heads? Replaced the vallye bolts. I am replacing an LS6 intake.

Could it be the wires for the knock sensors?

This deal was too good to pass up. Got it from a friend for the same price I sold my ls6 intake for. So you could say it was free.

That is the 78mm, but we did a 90mm on my friends car.

The SLP smooth bellows fit fine. It has the Nick Williams TB.

lol they are pricey!

If you were to do it again, would you stick with the TR224 cam? At this point, I'm planing to use that same H/C combo.

i was able to get the stock bellow to fit about 1/2" inch onto the throttle body after heating it this weekend - it is ghetto-ly held on there by tape until my smooth bellow gets delivered on monday

The TR224 is a great cam. i would get the same cam if I had it to do over. Easy enough if I decide to change later. As for Heads, I have several on the mind. AFR's, PP 243 castings, PRC (texas speed) 243's or 5.3's. I want the AFR's but the price is up there.
