Got the pass. side shock and spring off but i can't get the top nut off the spring perch. I can't even budge the fucker without the shaft spinning.
How do i cut this bitch off...i have a dremel at my use but i can't even budge the nut so what would you do to cut this shit off.
HELP!!

Are you getting rid of the Hotchkis springs? PM me if you are. I'm in DFW also, and may be interested.

You need to use an allen wrench on the top to hold the shaft in place, then try turning the nut with an open end wrench. It will be a slow process but should work, also hit the nut with some liquid wrench.

I'm taking out the G2 super springs and the hotchkis sprigns are going in with bilstein revalves.

It's the stock shock shaft so there's no place to use an allen wrench. It's a flattened tip but vise grips nor a crescent wrench will keep it from spinning.
