Simply Green sucks if you have brightwork. It will turn the metal into a white blotchy pile when you're done. Good for degreasing, but NOT for show engines.

If you want real bling you'll need to sand, unless the suface is glass smooth, you won't get the results that are worth the time.

Yeah simple green is really strong i only used it on the engine part. I use that stuff to clean my weapon well only the bolt. Eats the hell out of carbon. I have wanting to try and polish metal.. but im not sure what kind of drimel to buy .. i dont want to order offline because it takes forever to get stuff here on post.

01ls1lover- When you get serious about wanting the polish stuff pm me and I'll give you my cell phone #.

We'll go to Eastwood's (sponsor) website while we talk and I'll show you what to buy and how each item is used. To buy all the items I used for my whole engine bay I payed around $300. You will need a standard corded drill and lots of patience. $300 is far less than you'd spend for a shop to do it for you. We can go on your scale.(How blingish do ya wanna get?) Let me know. -Joshua

Was that the S-10 that you were helping to change the oil in?...I hope not...

I have a rotory tool (hi-speed plug in) you can use...just ask that you replace any sanding drums and polishing tips you use (kit is $9 at the PX).
