Hey guys, recently found the site and after looking around for a few hours, realized this was a site with immense knowledge that I must join.

About me - I'm 23, married w/ a little 10 month old boy (yes he's my first). I'm AD in the USAF stationed in Wyoming. I love pretty much everything with an engine. I have an 04 victory red crewcab Z71 that is mainly my wife's, an 81 camaro that is metallic grey w/ white ralleye stripes, an L88 hood, cragar rims, 350 tranny and a 267 w/ a 10 bolt housing 2.56 gears (yuck!). The 267 is being replaced by a 355 in late May-early June. I also have a 01 Yamaha R6 and a 2002 Honda XR200R (both of which I am selling to further finance my car).

I would love to eventually put an LS1 in my car, but more truthfully, I think I'd just buy a WS6, a Z or SS, or the like (not sure yet) and eventually put in a 9", and drop in a BBC (I have a 454 4bolt in my garage) thats being force fed some air

Thats about it (I think) just wanted 2 introduce myself and say from what I've seen so far, this site looks wicked!

all in good time...best part about the car - it was/is my wife's. - She's had it since she was 16 (7 years) and bought it for $400 missing the front clip...her and her dad redid the car, and she drove it until we bought our truck. Now w/ havin the kiddy she takes the truck.... - which, as you can imagine, works out great w/ me!

*edit - btw, cooltc - I'm originally from "near Sandusky". I lived 30 minutes from Cedar Points gates.....(just more background about me.)

Wow. You have a nice collection of toys. Welcome man. Glad to see you on the Tech. I haven't been here that long myself but it has been a great source of knowledge for me. I have an '81 Z as well. I'm planning on doing a build up on it this summer. Hopefully pro-touring style with a LS1/T56. Good luckl with yours and enjoy. Later.

Welcome aboard. I'm actually meeting a guy today about possibly purchasing a black 81' Z from him. It seems that they make great projects.

^^they're fun :judge:

I love GM products - cheap (remember I have an 81), fast (or it will be... :emb: ), and reliable (my experience)

FYI - I'm not really "rebuilding" the 81. Just putting in a 350 in place of a 267.

And have fun w/ the baby - trust me, it goes by faster than an bowtie racing a Rustang
