Default 409ci Solid Roller results on a Mustang Dyno

Tuned it to 475hp, 427tq ... dyno guy said add 10% for dynojet numbers.

409ci 8.6cc Dome Piston for 14.0 CR
Heads - FMS/Meaux 6.0L 65cc Solid Roller Heads w/ T&D Shaftmounts, Morel Lifters
262/268 650/650 110 lsa Cam
LS6 Intake w/ BBK 80mm TB ( Thanks Chuck )
Kooks 1-7/8 Headers Open Exhaust
Turbo 400 w/ 4700 Stall, Moser 9" w/ 4.11s, Steel DS
28" ET Drags + Tubes on Bogarts
Electric Water Pump
Alt/Crank Belt Only
Big Stuff 3

Interesting Notes... was having to pull fuel from tables up top because motor wasnt getting enough air and starting to richen up over 6.2k.... New intake / TB time i guess.

The ultimate dyno race was one 1/4mi pull ... 10.09 @ 134mph ... 1.64 60ft

Hitting track on sat... lets hope the 1/4mi numbers come out about right.

How much does the car weigh? Not being negative but that is about what my car is netting as it sits and the 1/4 mile #'s seem too good. I'd say mid 10's with that mamouth stall but I could be wrong? Nasty car you have their any pics? I do not mean this as a flame at all!

Man, on a motor like that i bet you see some good gains with a nice single plain/sheet metal setup. Hell, even a fast would pick up a good bit. Good luck!

Skip the FAST, go to a Vic Jr or GMPP.

Interesting, my old solid roller 414 (268/276) made 535 on a dynojet with a TH400 4.11 slicks etc at 11.5:1 compression, weighed about the same as yours (3150) and ran about the same (10.14 @ 134) lol. I had some hogged out 853 heads though, that LS6 intake is killing you for sure. I had a GMPP and a 4150 TB and it made its peak @ 7200rpm.

Better intake and a little work on the 60' and you should be well in the 9s..
