Default LS7 clutch on stock T/A

I was wondering if it would be ok to put a LS7 clutch on my near stock T/A (Air Lid and K&N). Would it be tough on the tranny/engine? And would it help or hurt my times?

It would probally help your times the only thing you would need is a LS2 flywheel. Since its a OEM clutch the drivablitity should be great

Thats great, i just have a couple questions:
How much would it help my time and how much more horse would i get to the wheels?
How much for an LS2 Flywheel and where could i get one?
How much for an LS7 clutch and where could i find one.
Sorry for all the questions im just really looking into getting one for my car and i dont wanna waste any money.

Excellent choice - Currently deciding between LS7 or Centerforce dual friction on mid 12's car.

LS2 and LS7 flywheel are the same part number 12571611 - $161 or so at Scoggins. LS7 Clutch can be bought as whole package w. clutch, plate, flywheel and throwout for about $399 or clutch part number 24233650 for $274 or so. Hope this helps.
