Default Opinions On This WS6

Okay....screw the Z28 in Virginia..a local Pontiac dealer has this WS6 on the lot. Seems to me that 23,900 is a bit much, even if it does have only 21,000 miles on it. Clean car....I drove it and everything seems fine....the clutch feels a bit funkier than the one in my Z, very tight until about halfway up and the release point is right at the top. Anyways what do you think I should offer them for it? Carfax anyone? Thanks!!

Get that price down and it sounds good. I paid $21K for my `02 SS with SLP options and 8K miles two years ago.

See how this compares in your estimation. 2002 SOM SS w/28,000 miles at $19,600. Auto w/neutral interior near every GM option and no additional SLP stuff and bone stock. As near perfect as is reasonably possible. Three weeks ago in North Carolina.

Make yourself a limit to what you will pay for it and go to the dealer and work on them, they will come down, they still got some room to move on the price !

The car is in the paper for $22,900.....I went in and drove it again yesterday and talked with the salesman....he will not budge from the price of $22,900....really what I need is for him to go down to $20,000. Doesn't look like that is going to happen. Oh well....its a nice car, but certainly not worth the payment I'd be making at $22,900. Maybe in a few weeks if its still there they will come down....if not, I'm sure I'll find another one.

It's springtime, it's a WS-6, it has well below average miles, and it's at a dealer. $23k is a reasonable price under the circumstances. If you don't buy it for $23k someone else will. Good luck in your search.
