Default problem with going into gear

ok so i started my car today and it was in 1st and it kept stalling out and there was no spring in the clutch pedal then i got it to go into reverse and it and went up to the top of my drivway and it stalled again and the only way i could get it to go is to leave it in gear and press the gas while starting it would shift once i got going but i got no pressure from the clutch pedal

Did you check under the hood to see if the resovoir has any brake fluid in it? The slave or master could be leaking or shot. I've had nothing but problems with mine over the past 5 months.

The resovoir is on the drivers side near the firewall. There is a rubber hose that runs from the resovoir to the master cylinder. If that resovoir is low add some brake fluid and pump the clutch. Maybe its something simple like air in the line.

The clutch felt like that when you got in the car this morning? Not after any wide open runs?

I would definately try bleeding it and see if that helps any. Keep an eye on the resovoir and see if you are losing any fluid. If the slave is leaking you wont see a drip under the car right away, it leaks into the bellhousing.

Hopefully bleeding it will help out some...Good luck.
