Default Difficulty swapping dash gauge overlay?

I kinda like the white gauge overlays, are they worth messing with? Hard to install? Anyone using these.

I have the silver ones, and I like the looks of them, they were pretty easy to install, took me probably only 45 mins (didn't even have to drop the steering column)

Just pull the cluster and slip the whites over the factory face. You can manipulate the gauge needles without breaking them, but be carefull.

put the overlays in, they require no needle removal. Only took about 30 minutes to put my overlays in. IMO best interior mod. Pic in sig

send me a link to where you got them too.

So does it not glow that stupid orange? because that drives me crazy. If it doesn't glow orange is there anything that can be done for the stupid orange on the A/C controls and the steering wheel buttons? I hate it and want to get rid of ALL the orange!

Ive wanted to do this forever, I just remember some people complaining that a gauge needle or two stopped working after they swapped the face. That pretty much stopped me from trying this mod.

sent the PMs. The gauges still light up normal color and brightness. I believe you can changes all the interior lights by using blue LEDs

do they have to be special LEDs because the one that i have seen on some car websites are only in blue, white, or red? I don't want those colors.
