Default Where could it be leaking ???

Ive got a small oil leak some where on the back of the motor I cant tell exactly where its coming from. Where are the possible spots of leakage on the back of the motor?

Rear Main seal?
Have you recently done any work on it?

I just had the clutch done 2000 miles ago everything was dry as a bone then.Did the plugs about 1000 miles ago as well as an oil change everything was dry then. I just noticed it when I went to flush the rad and I looked back and saw it dripping off the bell housing and its sprayed back to the back of the tranny. I thought it was tranny fluid at first till I wiped it and found it was green (GC 0w30 ,first time Ive used it) Also I just switched to the new PCV valve in the last week Im not sure if that could have caused this.

I'd say its your rear main if its dripping from the bell housing. Pull of the inspection cap from the tranny and wipe your finger inside the housing and see if theres oil in there, if so then its the rear main. Or maybe your oil filter is on too tight and the seal isnt too great.

Yeah I was thinking about the filter because thats one of the wetest spots but I put it on as tight as I could by hand as I always do. Where is the inpection hole ,and if it was the rear main wouldnt my new clutch be slipping?

If you have an oil cooler it has an adapter piece that goes on the block in between the block and the oil filter itself. This piece has a gasket just like an oil filter does maybe it's that. Easy fix

Ok this is driving me crazy,it doesnt make sense. It goes for 3-4 days no leak, then all of a sudden I go for a drive and I smell oil burning on the exhaust.I look underneath and theres oil sprayed back again, its not much its not even really showing up low on the dipstick. But its enough to make a mess underneath. How can it leak sometimes and not other times. It never leaked a drop of oil until this last couple of weeks (since I had the clutch done, new PCV valve, plug change and switched to GC 0w30 oil) Any other suggestions anyone PLZ
