hey im looking to buy an 99 z28 as a daily driver...the car has 100k on it but is pretty damn clean...6 speed...they want 8,000 for it...does that sould like a good deal??

how long will the motor hold up before it goes or need a rebuild?

anything specific to look for on that car that could be a problem? thanks in advance

There's people here with well over 150k on their LS1s with zero problems, so given proper maintenance, there seems to be no reason they shouldn't last 200k or more
As for problem areas, piston slap (when cold) weak power window motors, weak rear end, the usual squeaks and rattles, possible leaking t tops. Check it out like any other used car, and if you like it and it looks good snag it up

So do you know the reason the paint isn't original? wreck or what, that's the first question I'd be asking
Yeah not feeling the pink badging, but I don't mind the GFX, looks like the front section is missing, if you can get the complete set you can sell it and maybe make some $$$$ of it

If the front section is missing, I'm guessing the car rearended someone hence the paint job

i dont think id pay 8k for it offer him 6k but dont pay over 7k
