Default Exhaust Size ?

What Size Of Exhaust Do I Need To Make 400-450 Rwhp?the Dyno Shop I'm Dealing With Tells Me My 3'' Y Pipe And 3'' Single Exhaust Is To Small Is This Ture Or Is He Just Trying To Get More Money From Me He Says I Need Dual 3'' Or A Single Pancake 5''. Any Help Would Be Great.

The single 3" is on it's limits but should handle it.

You can either go dual 2.5" (3" is unnecessary imo) or go single 4".

3" should be fine but where you're going to lose is the crossover/stock style catback. A cutout should remedy this problem if you plan on keeping that setup.

depends on the OPTI



kidding, 3" catback is fine dude, stepped headers would be great, average longtubes would be wonderful, duals would be about as good as 3" catback in that rwhp range.

i got passetter long tubes hooked up to slp's 3'' y pipe the there 3'' pipeing that they called two to the left the cat is gutted already will i be good ?

I still don't think you can hit 400-450 at the wheels with a chambered muffler. I'd say I'd barely hit 400 at the wheels and I'm running Hooker LT's with a straight through Borla XR1.

I would go with a 4inch, or a really good flowing true daul 3inch and dump it.
