Default Why does everyone all of a sudden worship MOSER?

I worded the topic in the hope that I get a lot of responses to this thread.

Anyways, I've been researching rears for quite some time now, and had all but decided on a Moser 9" but some of the posts from early 2005, it seems like people were having all sorts of difficulties with their Moser 9's.

So that means the company has either shaped up in the past year, or I don't quite now. It seems like more Moser owners are happier now than a year ago, quality, cust service, etc.

I like the fact you can get a Moser much quicker than a Strange. Price seems fairly equal (~2300-2500 with TrueTrak ABS/TCS 1350 yoke)

About my ride: 2002 WS6 with some mods would like to be in the range of 600 rwhp.

So post up if you are still having issues with Moser, I'm curious.

With the search down and many new members ( since 2005 alone ) I don't think many realize the past issues. My $.02.

I used to live in Indiana 20 min away from moser. they did get some new people in and quality control has gone up. But Viper may have a good point as well on this. I like mine and have never had any problems.

We sell a lot of Moser rears, seven in one day about a month ago. We normally don't see any problems associated with them. Bob

Moser 9 inch with Truetrak, your choice of gear ratio and ABS/TCS, $2,400.00 shipped. This is a great price! $2,300 shipped without ABS/TCS. Bob

My only hesitation with the Moser is the torque arm mount design. Do they still have the blind holes instead of through bolts?

They are blind on the 12 bolt, the Moser 9 inch go all the way through. Bob

Ill second that.

I had the most problems with them in the middle to late 90's. But it seems with their change in personel, their QA has increased leaps and bounds. Albeit the fact that they 'single point cut' splines, and some other finishing issues, they are much better off with better personel.

I don't worship Moser, that's why I bought a Strange, but I don't worship Strange either.

No issues with my Moser 12bolt. Was just as quiet with 4.33's as my 10bolt was with 3.42's....until I started banging on it with slicks, but ANY rear will make noise after that.

Im totally satisfied.

I don't worship an axle, but it was the best deal for a mod on my car, $500 and my 10bolt got me a MOser with 33spline axles, 700hp upgraded Eaton w/extended 1/2 NHRA studs. Have heard nothing but good about Moser. Only thing I've done to it is having a new custom DS built this Wed for the new build, 3" cmoly, 1350 ujoint ends DAna up front and Strange billet 1350 pinion yoke out back (good for well over 1000rhp). Moser makes good stuff man.
