Default torque specs

what are the torque specs for the pressure plate? it is a oem ls6 clutch set if that matters also what do i torqe the bellhousing to???? thanks

Snug the p/p bolts up and then tq them to 35 ft lbs and then to 55 ft lbs.
as for the bell housing, I ran tehm up and jsut put a little *** into it. They are not as critical. I just put mine in to they were good and tight but dont try to break a ratchet on it.

thanks and do the p/p bolts in a criss cross pattern correct?

i did 35 then 55 and i still have the same prob as i had befor where 2 of the bolts are the PP "teeth" sitck out a little fater than all the others. the are exact opposite of eatchother what is up with that.

If you are talking about the fingers in the middle that the slave cyl. pushes on then I think once you put the pressure to it from the slave, it will straighten out.
Ponchatoula is by Hammond. On I 55 south of Hammond .

The tq of the pp bolts should not cause the p/p fingers to stick out if they were tightend evenly. Call spec if you like but I would not thik its a problem as the first time that slave puts pressure on it , the fingers will go even with the others.
