Default leaky slave

i bought a slave froma a member on this board because my old one was leaking and this one leaks worse than my old one. what is the pn for the updated slave and where is the cheapest place i can get one??? please help asap i need to gte my car back on the road

Before you deal with a 3rd part , be sure it is not the line that is leaking?

i have the trans out and the slave in my hand when a buddy presses the pedal fluid comes out of the round cylindar behind the TO bearing. that is a leaky slave right...

Not really but it may be now. I think it needs to be trapped when putting the pressure to it . I think what you did may over extend the piston .

so are u saying i screwed it up myself? would there be any way to fix that. i hope i didn't just screw up a 100 part

What he said. Don't apply pedal pressure until the part is installed properly. Sorry. Let's just say you aren't the only one though.

I ordered mine from summit a couple days ago. Price is about the same, but the shipping is wayyy better than GMPD.

Make sure you dont have any bellhousing issues. Misalignment will take a slave out quick.

Also look around and try to find the best damn hose insulation you can afford and wrap thoes lines up.

call around to some shops that deal with turbos and ask what the recomend to insualte oil lines, and anything else that might come close to heat. Something silicone based.
