lt1 car with ls1 taillights

lt1 car with ls1 taillights is there anything special that you have to do here to make them work??? i would have thought that they would just bolt right in but thats just my guess so any help would be appreciated

I assume that the light assembly themselves are the same size and will fit. But the bulbs are different sizes and do different things i.e. the turnsignal bulb on the LT1 shines red and stays on while the lights are on. LS1's shine amber and are only on when turning. If someone knows how to rewire let me know. I want LT1 lights that work right
