Default New Mods!

Well, today I ended up installing the following:

1:SLP Loud Mouth
2:SLP Lid, CAI, with K&N, & Bellows
3:SLP three way Sub Frames
4:And Reinforced my LCA's and Panhard rod (welded steel inside)

I have to say that the first test drive after everything was taken care of, blew my mind, what a difference. The subframes make so much of a difference, I suggest it as one of the FIRST mods for anyone new to the F-Body world. I really like the way the LM sounds under WOT.

I am thinking of the PRO 5.0 next, I hate the sloppy shifter in there right now. I am having trouble deciding what I should do next...

Could not agree more! The stock shifter is just pure torture compared to this combination. Shifts are short and very positive. I used to have an issue shifting hard from 2-3 with the stock shifter and in the 2+ years of having the Pro 5.0 and LSS I have not had even one issue with the 2-3 shift. Awesome combination.

Of course once you get the Pro 5.0 and LSS you'll need SFC's next.

Good to hear. Although I doubt the subframes are the differnece your noticing, probably the LCA's and Panhard, those seem to make a good difference, SFC's just stop the frame from twisting.

I actually purchased the subframes from a friend for next to nothing BRAND NEW. The difference between the "stock" LCA's and Panhard was huge, I had a friend reinforce them with steel inserts. What a defference! Even with the stock wheels, I can launch a lot better, it holds first beter, and is harder to break the tires loose in second and third.

The subframes were a total B*TCH to get on the car, expected at 60k or more miles, (due to a few rock dents on some of the areas where you "bolt" them in). Either way, so far I am happy with the out come.
