Default intake manifold???

hey guys i am thinkin of gettin just the edelbrock performer intake manifold for my camaro, not the lt4 conversion just the 200 dollar manifold, ne one done this and noticed or heard of gains, and ne one know how long it would take to install???

Give us a link.
Sofar there is no production Edelbrock LT1 intake that is supposed to change though. I have my doubts about that one being an upgrade but show us what has your eye and we can try to help.

ok so wut is that thing on the site i posted for 222 from edelbrock because that is the exact same thing as what was at the parts store and it says intake manifold on it and if it is this 4 barrel thing? can u explain the difference in that and the intake manifold to me and tell me bout perfomance gains from the 222 dollar one from the site??? cuz that is the one im lookin at getting

That's a SBC intake not LT1. See the distributor hole in the rear? You're better off with the LT1 intake that's currently on your vehicle.

so ur saying that that intake manifold wouldnt even fit my car? cuz it says 5.0/5.7 liter 282-400 c.i. motors up to 95

No it wont fit at all. Please do some research on what motor you have. You have a Gen II smallblock, not a Gen I. Unless its LT1 specific, or you're converting, nothing they make will fit as of now.

It would work great on my '93 Suburban or my 79 Z28 tho. It's a Throttle Body Injected intake. 2 injectors mounted in a carb-like throttle body. Note that there are no injector bungs for your 8 injectors either...

You could MAKE it work for another few hundred dollars, but it certainly wouldn't be worth it. Especially that one.

if your going to get a intake.... get a victor jr and buy a throttle body and ****.... umm... i would grab a link to show you.. but im lazy... you get the idea though/...
