New best, 355 6 speed NA..10.39
Went to give it another shot tonight to see if the new oil pan with all the oil control stuff worked like people said it would. I had tightened up the front shocks from my 10.49 run in an attempt to keep the front end down...wheelies are cool but they are waisted et. Anyway, burnout didn't go to well and went sideways so had to role out of it sonner then I would have liked. Staged and brought up the revs to 6200 on the two step and let her rip. I felt it struggle for traction, pick the wheels up about 6" and carry em out some then bit and bogged. Car ran out well and I noticed that on top the rpms were really screaming and I crossed the light right as I hit my limiter. I knew the mph had to be good as I was turning more than on my 130 mph runs but thought the launch would hurt my et. got the slip and was shocked to see a new best of 10.39 @ 131.6 with a 1.42 60'(also new best). I did notice that my 1/8th mile was down 2 mph from my 10.49 @ 130 run so I knew it had more in it. But...glanced at the oil preasure and it was sitting at 0. I shut it down and had this problem a few weeks ago but it came back. I'm thinking sending unit but didn't want to chance it so it went on the trailer. I know the car had at least .5 mph and .05 et in it since I always go faster after my first run to shake off the cob webs. Plus I know the car had more in the 60'. Oh well..thats all speculation.
Here is the full slip
60' 1.42
330 4.29
1/8 6.665
mph 103.71
1000 8.68
1/4 10.39
mph 131.65
Compaired to my other run
60 1.437
1/8 6.710 @ 105.74
1/4 10.494 @ 130.4
Anyway...new best for me with more left in it. All on pump gas and a 6 speed..heheheh.

Thanks guys
short and dirty list of the setup. 355, GM LT4 heads ported by Steve Stumph when he was at thunder racing, Ported and welded lt4 intake, monoblade, Ross pistons, eagle rods, stock crank, Cam motion solid roller(255/263), pro shifted t-56, moser 9" with spool and 4.71s, DFI gen 7(the new heads are breathing WAY up there so I needed this to go over 7 grand). Car weights in at about 3300ish right now according to how much fuel is in it. My old website is www.geocities.com/herrint and I think the specs are up to date...I guess I need to go check.

GAAAAWDDDD!!!! Bet that thing idles nice I'd like to see your Gen VII DFI files so that I could compare them to the ones I will be working on soon.... for a slightly smaller 248/260 solid roller nitrous cam...
