Default get good lauch with my m6 is hard

maybe I m a puss, maybe I cant drive, but I really get crappy launch
seems that every time I try to rev to 3k rpms and then let go of the clutch quickly all I get is bogging or spinning the skinny 245 big o tires crappy tires...

how do you guys get good launch with a stock car?

maybe i should train more at about that kind of rpm ?

is it ok , dont want to kill my rear end , or clutch, I heard they die really easly bt its probably when dumping the clutch or sticky tire

what do you think\

thanks

I usually go from around 2500 w/ drag radials.

With street tires around 2000.

I used to slip the clutch out of the hole stock, but it wore on the clutch pretty good. Without a beefy rearend and a strong clutch, you are pretty much stuck with slipping it out of the hole. But now with supporting goods, I really enjoy my 5000-6000 rpm dumps. It's a hell of a ride on a 408 with the juice out of the hole.

yeah I bet , now I would love to get drag radial et just dump the clutch but soemthing is telling me that I would kill my car,
guess I ll try again and again , I try at around 2000 rmps and see if I can get decent launch not the typical , bogging then a second after .. catching upp

thanks for your imput guys

ok
ran on stock clutch and rear for long long time before going big
my tech nieck was 2000rpms, dump clutch, and fether gas.!!!!!!!!!! never feather clutch...... cost way to much $$$$$$$$ and cost nothing to feather gas, you should be able to get it to hook at about 3000 rpms and then you should know how the rest goes. 1.98 60's on that mostly 2.0 not bad for street tire and stock ****
