I don't think so, it'll hold the car at the line at the most but it's not going to allow you to stall it. It will just start burning out at the line . Just footbrake it and go .
But now that I think about it more, you're right...it wouldn't work because it releases the rear brakes and you would just burnout...

gotta be careful never top bump the switch while you are driving. Might cause an accident if you were to arm the system then step on the brakes for some reason.
When the line lock is activated the brakes the line lock is attached to (usually the front) will hold the same pressure as they had before the lock was activated.
example if you are not pushing the pedel and activate the lock- the (front brakes) will remain with no pressure no matter how hard you push the brake pedal.
same thing if you had the pedel pushed in say 25% and activate the lock the (front brakes) will remain at 25% until the lock is released.
another thing to consider is that it is not reccomended to engage the lock for more than 60seconds. I assume this could damage the linelock itself. I believe the smj kit includes a master switch and a momentary for extra protection.
