Default Shift delay with new clutch

I recently had the following isntalled:

LS7 clutch
Fidanza lightweight LS2 flywheel
New OEM slave
New OEM Master w/ drill mod
New pilot bearing
SPEC slave shim to assist with engagement

I've got about 500 miles on the clutch, and the only thing I don't like about it is this... When I depress the clutch pedal all the way to the floor, the shifter won't go right in to the next gear. If I add a brief delay before attempting to shift, it goes in fine.

I'm accustomed to being able to throw it into any gear as soon as the pedal hits the floor. I've got a remote bleeder on the slave and have re-bled it with no change in pedal functionality.

What am I forgetting? I'm not sure if this is hydraulics or the tranny.

Today it shifted fine while racing. No problem power-shifting 1-2. I put 250+ miles on it today plus the racing, so mebbe it just needed mopre break-in miles

I do have a very minimal problem with 2nd gear popping out under very light throttle. It's intermittent, though.
