Default Whistler mod done.....white Camaro.....56k beware

Well I finally bit the bullet and did the Whistler mod. I was reluctant to attempt this not knowing if I would like the end result. The more I thought about it, the better the idea seemed since I have a white Camaro and a flat black stull billet grille. I used regular old Rustoleum flat black spray paint and followed Whistler's instructions on his website http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/ride/224386/2 .

Overall I am happy with the mod. Can't really tell the true effect of them since it is getting dark here and it is overcast. Anyways, enough rambling, here are the pics!

Let me know what you all think. By the way, don't comment on the white paint behind the grille since that plastic will not be there in a couple weeks- a FMIC will be residing there

It might just be my foggy *** lenses, but I noticed a slight difference at night.

Upgrading to some Silverstars, or better lense' (which Im doing) will definitely help that situation tho. But the verdict right now is this effected my low-beam light slightly. High beam is still the same.

No there is no difference. The reflector part in the back was not painted so no lighting difference was noticed.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am happy with the mod. It is a small subtle difference that makes my Camaro different from others in the area. Now when I go to a cruise, car show, or the track, I will be unique.

That's the bulbs I have. I recommend them to EVERYONE. They were only $39.99 for the low-beam set, and $39.99 for the high-beam set. You really only need the low beams, but I got both sets. They are much brighter than the stock light and they remind you of the lights you would see in a Lexus, Mercedes, or BMW. Definitely a good investment.
