Default Service Vehicle Light

I just got my car 2 weeks ago and its stock. Its a WS6. Now my issue is the Service Vehicle Light came on today, it turned off and stayed off the rest of the day. Im not sure what it means since my car didnt come with an owners manual. I figure it could have something to do with a nasty smoke cloud I put up the day before. Its an A4 LS1 if that helps with any hints on what may be going on.

If you go to autozone they can read whatever codes are stored.. free. You can also place a refundable deposit and take the OBDII reader home with you.
