I am looking for some guidance. My question concerns my 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 with 28k miles..At WOT and only at WOT I am smelling from the interior of the vehicle an oil burning smell..
Some things to note:
1. Notice oil in intake.
2. Car has had cluck, cluck sound since purchased used, which increases with rpm and not engine load, as the sound increases when in neutral..The sound does not go away even after engine has been warmed up after 30 minutes of driving..
3. I always use 93 octane fuel..
4. Hearing hissing sound near pcv and intake area?

Thank you in advance for any possible advice offered..

I'd replace your pcv valve and see what happens.

what weight oil are you using?its possible the oil is too thin for the abuse you are giving the engine.oil smell at wot indicates alot of blowby.you could have one or more pistons that are loose in the bores.its nothing to be overly concerned about, but you could try a heavier oil.that should help.if you drive hard i would use something like 0-40 or heavier.any 30 weight oil is gonna be too thin
