Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - foglights

I recently lost the cover to the drivers side foglight,, i got a replacement light , My question is how do i get to light , do i remove entire shroud from underneath? i cant seem to access it from trap door used when changing out turn signal??I posted this in general main i didnt get much help...car is 1999 trans am

Go thru from the bottom, where the shroud joins the front of the car, there's some button head fasteners, take those out, pull the shroud back (it will flex enough), and there's the fog light mounting brackets (10mm bolts)
Mines an 02, but there shouldn't be much of a difference.
Some folks say you can get at them from the top, but I've never been able to

I could only get to the bulb from the top and I ended up slicing my finger open doing that. Dont bother trying from the top unless you have really (I mean really) small hands and forearms.
