Default Throttle Body Air Foil Aftermarket?

ok well i have a 54mm throttle body, and on ebay ive found air foils that just say for lt1, will they fit my throttle body even though its not stock????

Is your TB a bored out stock TB or aftermarket? If it's bored out, it should fit, it's aftermarket, it should have one built in.

Default hmmm

its edelbrock 54 mm, and it doesnt seem to have one, actually im positive it doesnt have one, so would a normal air foil for and lt1 still fit it?

I'm pretty sure it has one designed into the TB itself. Take a picture and post it.

Your TB probably has one machined into it.

If it doesn't, dont even waste your money. Buy some LCA reloc brackets or something.

If it doesn't have one built in, save your money and don't buy it anyway. The design was a nice theory but I have yet to hear of any real world gains from those things.

so does it have an airfoil built in???



ok so please tell me if it has one buuilt and i would like advice on if the elbow will do nething for me, i still have the stock elbow on it and ive gotta think that air resevoir that runs down by the radiator has gotta create some turbulence or am i wrong???

you have one built in. I wouldn't mess with the elbow - I have never heard of anyone gaining anything by removing the silencer except maybe a little more noise. Then again some don't even get that.

I removed the "donkey dong" air silencer and put a piece of wood I cut to match the opening in it's place to block off the hole. Doubt it really does anything but that stupid dong was pissing me off when trying to put the elbow back on the car one time...
