When my car is about to be parked, once you stop the car, and then shift into park, you can hear the tranny like "clank" when it changes out of gear, it'll also "clank" into reverse or drive from a stop.

I've noticed that by holding the brake very firmly, the noise goes away, almost completely. The car drives fine, no vibrations, no noises, I'm just wondering about the noises when the car isn't in motion.

Any suggestions?
