Default Question? Wynn's Engine Tune-Up

Just a Question.

My 2002 Trans Am WS6 Ram Air only has 620 Miles on it now, bought it with 593 Miles , it never had an oil change, so I got it done, put in Mobile 1 5W30.

Now the car has a tick which I tought was piston slap, but when I brought it in for the oil change I also got the shop to check out what they think the tick was. They said most likely a lifter tick, due from not driving the car, it mostly sat it's whole life. Now they told me to drive it around and see if it goes away. I maybe put like 20Miles on it (can't really drive it around yet cuz the roads are still pretty crappy here).

So today I bought some wynn's Engine Tune-Up, now will this harm the engine seeing as how it has such low mileage? or will it bung up the new oil I had just got put in?

Thanks in Advance.

Is your car still under warrantee? If so, make them replace the lifter! Don't take no for an answer. Sorry I don't know about Wynn's.

Yes car is still under warranty, but I was just wondering if I should try this stuff if it doesn't harm anything, cuz I'd rather this stuff fix the problem instead of some GREASY mechanic leaning/messing up my car.

I personally would not put any additives into my LS1 PERIOD. Most are just snake oil anyway. I would make the dealer fix it as it is under warranty. Just my opinion.

Yeah I think I'm gonna just leave it alone, a buddy of mines dad who does all the work on our cars, says to just drive it around put on a couple hundred miles and it might fix itself, if not take it to the dealership and get the work done under warranty.

The car has sat pretty much it's whole life and never had an oil change until last month BY ME.

Just drive it around, if it doesn't work itself out then have it replaced under warranty.

The only engine additive I use is Seafoam. And it works.
