Default Car won't start - Fire in intake Manifold

So here is my problem. After the car sitting for about 1 year - we finally got it back together. Now we are trying to get it started and are experiencing problems. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Here is exactly what we did so everyone can understand.

We pulled the engine. Took the heads off and had a professional clean them & replaced the valve seals. We completely cleaned everything before putting it back together. Followed the instructions on "How to rebuild the LT1 - LT4". After replacing the gas and discovering 2 of the injector connections being in the wrong place we attempted to start it. Here are the symptoms. The car turns over and actually backfires through the throttle body. So we are getting fire, obviously gas and have suspected being 180 off, but took it apart to correct that and here we sit. So, anyone have any suggestions? Please help?

You have either your timming messed up some how or you MIss wired opti to plugs. My first guess would be thats whats wrong. Check your Spark plug wiring. pass side--2.4.6.8...driver side 1.3.5.7. Your repair manual will tell u where they go on the opti (its very hard to see when its on the car)
