Gundrilling-Strange vs Moser Hi guys,
Why will Moser gundrill 35 spline axles that are the appropriate length for a
f-body but Strange will not.
Does this make the Moser axles inferior?

Gun drilling is only as good as the finished product. Meaning, its gotta be a damn good polished finish or the stress risers will make it inferior.
Any time you gun drill a shaft, it for the most part becomes stronger. This is due the increase is surface area in a tortional shaft.
Gun drilling is a process that not everyone can perform. And not everyone can perform it well. Not saying that Strange cannot, they most certainly can....... and do. I would call them and get their answer as to why..... as I would hate to speculate myself.
It doesnt make a Moser axle inferior..... but what does is their 'single point cut' axle splines. But that is another story...........
