Cartek 2x or G5X1 dyno results?
I'm thinking of running one of these two cams in my 00 SS in the future and was wondering if anyone had dyno esults of these cams, preffereably in an M6, and cam only! What was your setup and how do you like the driveability?
Let me know what you thik, I've been hearing allot of good things about that 2x cam and really wanna see some cam only #'s

Also, here is a sound clip I dug up, through the Hooker Y, and a Hooker catback, with out the muffler IIRC.

i just dropped off my Cartek 2x cam (113 lsa, i think my 2x is an older version, w/ 224/228 .581/.588 lift, 113icl) and patriot 59cc heads at east side performance this morning. Ken told me to expect the car to be finished up early next week. I'll make sure I post up my results

I made 440 with a 2X cam and AFR heads milled to 59cc. This was through the stock cats too. driveability was very, very good.

390RWHP w/ cam only through a 12bolt w/ 4.11's. LT's, ORY , airlid tuned by CARTEK. Its a M6 and the driveablity was like stock. I've seen an 2001 C5 M6 dyno 412RWHP 2x cam only with kooks LT's and catback maybe a underdrive pully but not sure.

Nice numbers there!
Great to see some nice cam only numbers for sure. I'm lacking an LS6 intake so I'm guessing I'll see somewhere between 375 and 385. If so, I'm pretty happy with that!
Yeah I'm lookin' forward to gettin' that puppy in my ride and see what sort of power can be had there! She worked great in your car Vortech!
I'll be sure to post up my cam only dyno in this thread when I get the car put together. Waiting on parts at the moment...

Well boys here's my official results.
365 RWHP and 355 RWTQ. (on a Dynojet 248C)
I don't have an LS6 intake, ported TB, or under drive pulley on the car. This was on an 85 degree day at about mid afternoon. Fairly humid.
The AFR was about 12.6:1 on the Dyno so I had some more room left. Probably could have nabbed 370 to the wheel but the car will run leaner on the street than it will on the dyno and I wanted to make sure it was safe. Still think I should have done a pull at 12.9:1 if I could have.
Nowhere close to 400 with my lowly 98 that is lacking a few bolt ons. Supporting mods are in sig.
If I can get a clip of the idle and a rev I'll do it for yah man!
