slp mass air sensor descreened? what's the harm in descreening the sensor? In the instructions, it says not recommened for street cars. Anybody running one daily without the screen?

dont do it, it straightens out the airflow so it the sensor can get an accurate reading. they put it there for a reason and wouldnt spend the time and money to put it there if it wasnt necessary

my slp maf went bad a week after cam install, had to get another slp to avoid tuning.
(I didn't descreen, bit it went bad anyway) The air volume that you would gain is not worth having to buy another Maf
