Is the UMI 2 point tubular bolt in subframes worth the money, or would my money be better spent elsewhere? i'm not trying to spend a whole lot of money, but i dont want to waste what i do spend. I have seen these for $160 new.

I think they woould be worth it. Even more so if you find yourself jacking the car up offten. Id plan to get them welded in eventually tho.

I have the UMI 3 point tubular SFC bolt ins. After I got the installed, correctly (I think I was just tired), they worked great. I plan on getting them welded in eventually, but I could feel quite a difference.

I would say they are worth it. Plus I think it was Chevy High Performance magazine said they are one of the first things you want to do.

Where the SFC's attach to the lower control arm mount, this isn't tight enough and is causing a clunk. Retorque your control arm bolt to 90 ft. lbs. and that should fix the problem.

Hope that helps!

After Reading This, I Got Dents In My Rear Fenders But Never Could Figure Out How They Get There Im Alway Very Careful On Where I Park And So Things Do Not Ever Bump My Car But Somehow Theres A Few Dents Is That What Your Talking About.

And Are Bolt In Sfc A Good Idea, I Just Dont Want To Weld Them In Right Now.

Subframe connectors are a great mod and something every f-body owner should do. UMI preformance is a great company with top quality parts & customer service that can't be beat. Their prices are awesome as well.
