Does anyone know where I can find a good write up for changing the rotors and pads on an LT1? I haven't started to work on it but was planning this weekend and just wanted to be prepaired. I also used the search and didn't really find anything.

ok well what about just some tips or words of advice on changing them...Is it an allen head that I need to use to remove the two bolts that hold the caliper in, if so what size?

Get a 3/8's allen socket. The tool will snap onto a 3/8's ratchet on one end and have the allen tool on the other end. This socket will allow you to remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper on.

Remove the caliper. Set it on something so that it doesn't hang from the brake line. Swap out the brake pads. Then pull the rotor off. Replace with new rotor. Put the caliper w/new pads on. Tighten up bolts. You are now done. Simple as that.
