Default car shakes a little at idle?

IS this normal? I got to finally cracked it out, because it was dry for once on the Perimeter.

I noticed when just sitting in drive, it shakes a bit, is it suppose to? like I watch the Tachometer and it doesn't move at all. Normal?

Mine shakes at idle too You might have a motor mount or trany mount going bad. Does it shake when the car is in park??

I'd start off by doing a good tune-up, plugs/wires will probibly take care of 90% of the shake.

Mine used to shake a little bit, so I put new plugs in it... problem is I put a cam in at the same time so no the car shakes big time

You know its alright to get it out of the garage and show it a road every now and again.

haha I know, I'm trying lol. It's hard cuz it's spring here and all the snow is melting so it's sloppy everywhere, I was just lucky to take it for a spin today.

The original owner (Older Lady) garaged it all it's life pretty much.

So the Shake is normal with the LS1? it's like barely a shake at all, but you can feel something a bit.

Back on topic Mine has about 40,600 miles and it shakes in neutral just sitting at a light. The shifter (M6) shakes side to side a bit. I think it might just be coming from that big ol 5.7L V8 in the front of the car

hahaha I wouldn't doubt it seeing as how it's sad for the longest time, I can't believe the original owner wouldn't wanna drive this machine.

All that shaking is just all the ricers trembling simultaneously. I'd be scared too knowing that cars like this are prowling the streets.

There is probably a slight shake on every LS1/LT1 car. The engines are huge, com'n. We're (meaning owners who have had there car for a while) just used to it I guess. Unless it's ungodly (or godly if there's a cam in there ), i wouldn't worry about it at all.

Yep thats a 346 for ya. I would be concerned if it didnt rumble. Thats why I got a V8 Firebird after my shitty V6.
