What do you guys think my car should run with the mods in my sig?
I have never been to the track, going tomorrow to see my buddy run his MR2 Turbo and maybe my other friends with a S2000 and 02 Turbo WS6. My car is not quite ready to run yet, I am worried about my rear end.
But anyhow, what do you think I should run by what I have listed in my sig. The only mod that's not listed in there yet (due to lack of space) is my cutout, which is partially capped right now.
Thanks for any insights.
Manny

don't get your hopes too high, street tires and a m6 you are not going to et. even CLOSE to it's potential. to give you an idea if my car doesn't hook i run high 12's @ the same mph (i've screwed up a few launches in my day ).
your next modification should be a 12 bolt/9" OR at least a girdle and stud kit- then some dr's and you'll probably see low 12's.
how it sits now, you'll be lucky to get mid 12's imho, BUT it'll trap nice and high! the power isn't the issue, the traction is.

Oh yes, I am very aware of my lack of traction. Some people think that 315's are the answer to traction issues, but they are not. I mean hell, I got SFC's, LCA's and an adjustable TA, and I can burn rubber so easy it's not even funny. I dunno how well street tires (Yokohama AVS Sport in my case) grip on a well prepared track, and I don't think I really want to find out because if they would hook, I'd be scared to break my rear end and push the car home....all 70 miles.
Seeing how easy I can roast them, I am starting to re-think that 4.10 gear idea which I was going to put in for the increased fun to drive factor.

See my sig for what I run. That was very good weather, I normally run 12.3's or 12.4's with my car. I'm on stock Eagle F1's so if I was you I'd shoot for 2.0 60's if you could, good goal. You're not going to break the rear on street tires, I've got 130+ passes on mine with these tires, leaving at ~2500 and I'm fine.
I'd say first time at the track high 12's @ 114, could work that down to mid 12's depending on launch.

I would have to disagree with ya on this one, a M6 loves 4.10s, and it will not effect your gas mileage at all. I still get 26 to 28 on the highway with my 4.10s at 75mph. As for performance it feels a lot quicker you will notice it right away so I say do 4.10s and you will not regret it!!!

do the 4.10's... or 4.30's, but get them in a 9inch or 12 bolt.... and get some tires.. and u might run low 12's at factory raceweight..
with the street tires and factory weight, im calling for 13's.. might break into the 12's

I really don't want to spend all the money on a 12 bolt, I am hoping that since I don't really go to the track but just drive around on the street, the 4.10s could provide a bit more of a fun to drive experience.
