Default Soaking the tails?

I have one tail that is darker than the other. Will it hurt if I were to soak it in some warm soapy water to see if it'll lighten up at all?

No it will not help, the problem lies on the inside.

nope, i have the same problem as well...so do a bunch of others here
as far as i know the only fix is to buy a new tail light
