My recently purchased trans am came with 275/40R17 Aurora k103 tires. Can anyone tell me anything about these tires? I haven't been able to find too much information online.
No big deal, just curious. Any idea how much these cost new?

Nobody has heard of these?

They're a private label Hankook tire. I had heard of the name but wasn't positive if it was Hankook that makes them. I just ran across an auction on ebay for them. Appears they are H rated and not Z rated. I don't know anything else beyond that.

Hmm, turns out the outer edge of one of my aurora has gone bad, time for an alignment and a replacement tire. Unfortunately, I can't find anyone that sells these, any ideas?

Like I said before...ebay, unless you can find a Hankook dealer in your area.

Yea, unfortunately I only see the wrong tire size on Ebay everytime I check. I was hoping to find a nice online site where I could order my exact tire, but nothing shows up using google/froogle. Doh. My next set won't be such a hard to find brand. :-) Thanks again.

Grr, nowhere seems to have them and the Ebay guy is UK only. Any recommendations for a new set of 2 tires to match these 2 aurora's. I'm moving to Orlando in a few weeks, so no need to worry about snow, just lots of rain!!!
Thanks!

I think I'm looking between $100-$225 each, so the Michelin's might be pricey to me ($300 each here) The Nittos 555's look promising ($174), but I've also heard good things about the BFG g-force sports and KDW's ($141-184), and Goodyear Eagle F1's ($221). Any opinions on these?
Any suggestions for whether to put the new tires in the rear, and auroras up front, or vice versa?

All of those you mentioned are outstanding tires!

Yea, too many good choices! Since Florida is usually under water this time of year, the Goodyears are probably my favorite choice after researching. (They look cool too :-) I'll just have to live with wearing them out every 2 years!
