Default Dood im pissed.. anyone have this problem??

I was taking off the under panel of the dash last night.. getting ready to take out the old Master Cylinder..

i notice a small metal bar type thing come falling out... puzzled since i didnt know what it was.. i began searching around..

Turns out, its part of the spring, on the clutch assembly!! The one side of the spring broke off.. i still have the other side hooked in, and its partly functioning...

anyone know of a replacement for the spring?? or do i have to get a whole new pedal assembly?? damn damn damn damn

Those things break all the time. Don't worry about it. It really isn't needed, and from what I remember, you have to get the whole assembly to get that one part.

It does, but I'm not sure how much faster. There are plenty of people that run without them. Mine's still in one piece, but if it breaks, it ain't gettin replaced.

Yeah same thing happened to me. Took that panel off and the broken spring came falling out. I looked at it, knew exactly what it was, threw it out of the car, and didn't worry the slightest bit about it. My clutch still works fine.
